APERTURE CARD SCANNING 35mm Aperture Cards Whatever the type of Aperture Card Scanning you require, we can help! Aperture cards are a single thin card roughly the size of a compliment slip with an aperture at one end containing a 35mm frame of film. They are used for filming oversized documents such as maps, plans, technical drawings and diagrams.

Engineering drawings, maps and plans stored on aperture cards are digitised using specialist aperture card scanners at high resolution to capture intricate details from the aperture card film. After scanning the film, images of drawings are produced, quality checked and corrected to ensure the highest possible quality of image.
