What Is Paperback Book Scanning?

Paperback books may be efficient to digitise, but glued or flexible bindings still need assessment.

Modern paperbacks can be captured non-destructively when the original must survive, or prepared destructively when the owner explicitly approves that route.

Professional guidance: A paperback can still have a tight gutter, brittle paper or detached pages, so its construction matters.

Paperback book scanning

The right method depends on the physical construction, condition and purpose of the book. Non-destructive capture keeps significant originals intact; destructive capture can be appropriate for approved modern production work.
