Our professional book scanning service supports corporate, heritage and consumer clients with the digitisation of rare, precious and valuable bound volumes. Using BookEye overhead scanners, reprographic camera systems and contactless scanning technology, we aim to create a high-quality once-only digital scan while minimising unnecessary handling of the original.

Pricing notes
- All prices are per captured image and exclude VAT. VAT is added at 20%.
- Searchable PDF / OCR and TIFF-to-Word conversion each add £0.10 per image.
- A £40 minimum applies to a single-book order when the calculated subtotal is below £40. It does not apply to orders of two or more books.
- For double-page spreads, the image count is rounded up where a book has an odd number of pages. The larger spread size determines the rate: A5 to A4, A4 to A3, A3 to A2, and A2 to A1. A1 double-page spreads require an individual quotation.
- Complex, fragile or unusual books may require an additional technical service charge, agreed before work begins.
- PDF and JPEG rates above are shown using the published access-file rate. Final output specifications and any specialist requirements should be confirmed in the quotation.
